Loan Program
VLC loan program offers Verona residents items such as; Walkers, Shower chairs, Portable commodes, Wheelchairs, Canes, Crutches and when available Electric Hospital Beds, all free of charge.
Verona Cedar Grove Medical Transportation Program
Supported by the VLC and run by the Verona Health Department, this service provides transportation for seniors and disabled to area Doctors and Hospitals.
Eye Glass Recycle Drop Box
We have an Eye Glass Collection Box located outside the Verona Community Center where you can drop off your old eyeglasses. These glasses are given new life and help to provide sight for the less fortunate by recycling and refurbishing them.
Annual Verona Lions Service Awards
At the end of each High School year, we present to graduating Verona Residents a limited number of Service Awards with emphasis on service to the community.
Camp Marcella
We support this Summer Camp located in Rockaway New Jersey. The camp provides summer activities for the Blind, Visually impaired and Special needs youth.
White Cane Fund Raiser
VLC fundraiser each Spring sent to Verona residents that asks for donations to help us support the many community projects we sponsor.
